Day 1 - Marion, Iowa to Louisville, Kentucky

This is just a quick update. Today at 8am my parents, littlest sister and I left our house in Marion and drove to Louisville, Kentucky. It was a crazy morning and the minute I woke up I was instantly sick to my stomach. It was the kind of stomachache that put me in the emergency room last semester. I dug out my medicine from that time around and took some in hopes my stomach settled (as of this moment it hasn't. In fact it got pretty bad to the point where I didn't really eat dinner or anything else for that matter). We drove all day. As we drove past Peoria and Bloomington, I tried to convince my dad to go a bit out of the way to Lincoln so that I could see my sister, but that didn't happen. We stopped in Indianapolis to have dinner. My boyfriend and his parents drove down from NE Indiana (a two and a half hour drive) to meet us and be able to spend some time before I leave. It was wonderful. It was so good to see my love again. I have missed him a great deal and am sad to leave him for another 6 months. After dinner we drove the last hour and a half to Louisville and are now relaxing in the hotel. I am laying in my bed catching up on emails, budgets, money reports and facebook. But thought I would throw out a quick update on how my first day of my adventure went. I still don't feel good. I still am not excited about all of this. And I am still terrified out of my mind. But the adventure has begun. So here we go. No turning back now.
