Who I Am

Hello, I am Kiersten.

I am:

• Christian -- this is probably the most important thing of all to know about me
• 34 years old 
• wife to Spencer -- most often referred to as My Love
• mama to a 5 year old -- most often referred to as Little Love
• missionary at Casas por Cristo and living life in the borderland of El Paso, Texas & Juarez, Mexico
• second oldest of 5 girls and 1 boy
• preacher's daughter 
• Lincoln Christian University graduate -- BA in Intercultural Studies/Missions with a focus in children and family ministry
• sports fan -- University of Illinois, St. Louis Cardinals, El Paso Chihuahuas, Buffalo Bills, and Buffalo Sabres
• avid reader -- my book blog is KDanae Reads

I enjoy:

• watching Disney movies 
• quoting Little Rascals the movie with my siblings 
• going on dates with My Love 
• watching Little Love play t-ball
• spending time with my big, crazy, loud, and loving family 
• cozy hammocks and good books 
• talking about missions 

I dream about: 

• living in the mountains in a cabin or barndominium
• writing and publishing a book 

This blog is all about my journey through life. I admit that I am not the most eloquent writer, I simply write what I think and feel. I am not perfect, I am a sinful being. And I simply write in order to think through my experiences, my thoughts, my challenges, my doubts, my triumphs and my dreams. I hope that when you read my stories, you will not just see a young woman struggling through life, but rather you will see how GOD is working in one of His creations and continuing the work that He started the day I was born.
