Late night thoughts... round 2

My last undergraduate semester of classes has begun as of today. It started off well and I'm already working ahead on homework. My one and only class tomorrow has already been canceled due to the professor being ill. So, I get to spend my day working in the office, seeing some dear friends and their wonderful kids, and then driving home for the long weekend with my sister, boyfriend and boyfriend's sister. It's gonna be a great weekend and I am excited to get to spend a weekend at home. Yes, I was just home last week and have only been in Lincoln since Monday. But I've hit the point where I simply want to soak up as much time with my family as I possibly can before heading to Peru for six months. So, I'm going home this weekend and am very excited.

Over the last couple of days, I have been trying to do a lot for my internship. Trying to make my checklist shorter in every possible way. I think I have finally managed to set dates for it and have almost completed my support letter and prayer card. My sister has been helping me tonight with my prayer card. We both had different ideas and visions for it. But it's finally starting to come together. And I like how it's looking. I am hoping to get everything finished tomorrow or Saturday so that next week I can begin printing, folding, stuffing, and addressing envelopes. I've decided that I'm going to enlist my boyfriend's help in that task. He just doesn't know it yet. Hehehe.

As I am beginning to see things come together for this internship, I am beginning to grow anxious and excited yet again. I have had no desire to do any homework because I have just wanted to focus on my internship stuff. I know that isn't necessarily a good thing. But oh well. It'll settle out eventually. I know that I still have a lot of internship prep work to do. But I am ready for it. And so excited.

Well... I am off to finish a movie and then lock up the dorm for the night. Til next time...
