Part of something bigger - part 2

A Global PrayerCast. 

An hour of coordinated, purposeful, united prayer. 

An hour of pouring out one's heart for the nations and the Church. 

An hour of standing (figuratively) with missionaries and churches around the world in worship and intercession before the throne of GOD. 

An hour specifically set aside for the Church to be the Church and pray for those who haven't heard.

An hour where every unreached people group was lifted up and placed in the hands of their Creator with the hopes that they will one day soon hear the name of Jesus. 

An hour where one could be part of something bigger. 

Last Wednesday, Christ's Church of the Valley in Peoria, Arizona hosted the 3rd Global PrayerCast with Unleashed for the Unreached. Team Expansion's president, Doug Lucas, was there with the Wall of Unreached Peoples. And over 60 sites around the world logged in and prayed via video calls. There were prayers for specific people groups, specific countries, specific world problems. There were prayers in different languages. There were prayers where the person praying was just a voice because it was for their safety. There were prayers where the video may not have worked correctly. There were prayers that brought tears to one's eye. And there were prayers that made one smile thinking of the possibilities for healing, restoration, faith and growth. 

Being a part of something bigger doesn't have to be glamorous. It doesn't mean that you have to be front and center for everything that happens. It doesn't even mean that you will get recognized or be remembered. Being a part of something bigger is about finding your place in the KINGDOM, finding your place in the Body of Christ and doing the tasks GOD has created just for you to do. Being a part of something bigger is about having an attitude of humility and putting other's needs above yours. It's about being used by GOD for His purposes, His people, His glory. 

I got to be a part of something bigger through the Global PrayerCast. I was watching it online in the comfort of my apartment. I was praying with hundreds of other believers around the world. I wasn't one of the ones praying on the video. No one at CCV or Team Expansion or Unleashed for the Unreached recognized me or even knew I was joining them. I was just watching and praying in the quiet of my heart. And it was a wonderful hour of sweet prayer and fellowship with GOD's people. It was an amazing experience being a part of something bigger. 

Let GOD show you the place He has just for you. Let Him reveal the tasks you are meant to do. Let Him lead you to being a part of something bigger. You won't regret it. I promise.
