It's official!!!

I am married! June 2, 2012 was a crazy blur of a day. I really don't remember it much. But it was the day that I married my best friend! Everything went perfectly and it was wonderful to celebrate with our friends and family. We even got to have a family lunch on Sunday before all of us headed out our separate ways. It was amazing and just what we needed I think. I will post some pictures once I get them from my sister (she shot the wedding photos). I have only seen a few and they are fantastic. Can't wait to see the rest!

We have been married now for two weeks. We have completely settled into our new house, spent a week in the Sawtooth Mountains in Idaho for our honeymoon and come back to the Midwest to jump right into VBS week. I am incredibly tired. But incredibly blessed and happy. I am married to my best friend. Got to spend a week reading and relaxing in the wilderness (I read two books!). Get to live in a house of my own with my things all set up and on display. And I couldn't be happier. While I do miss my family and my home in Iowa, I am excited about getting to make this place home for Spence and I.

Next week is VBS and so Spence and I are busy pulling things together for it. I am doing the missions presentations (found out a few days before our honeymoon) and so am spending today working on researching the country of Ghana, the mission organization and the missionary family we are supporting. I hope I can learn enough and grow familiar enough with the family to get through the week and make it interesting for all of the kids in attendance.

Well, that's just a quick update on things in my crazy, new life. We don't have internet at our house yet (I'm in Spence's office right now) and so am not sure of how much I will get to write here. But will do my best to pop in and out whenever possible.
